PartyForge Privacy Policy
PartyForge ("the app", "we", "our", or "us") is an offline party-game toolkit for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is stored, and how you can contact us.
Privacy Summary
- No account or login is required.
- No ads are shown in the app.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs are used.
- The app does not request internet access.
- We do not collect, sell, or share personal data.
Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information from users. The app does not send scores, player names, settings, history, device identifiers, usage activity, or any other app data to us or to a server operated by us.
PartyForge is designed to work offline and does not require a network connection.
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide its features, the app stores some information locally on your device using Android app storage technologies such as Room and DataStore. This local information may include:
- Scoreboards, player names, scores, rounds, and score actions.
- Activity history, such as completed scoreboards, dice rolls, wheel spins, random picks, timer completions, and word prompts shown.
- Spin wheel segment labels.
- Word-game favorites.
- App settings, including theme, sound effects, haptics, and large text preferences.
This data is used only to make the app features work on your device.
Android Backup and Device Transfer
PartyForge allows Android system backup and device transfer for app preferences and local databases. If Android backup is enabled on your device, your app data may be backed up by the Android operating system to your Google account according to your device settings and Google's policies.
We do not operate this backup service and we do not receive access to your backed-up app data.
Permissions
PartyForge does not request user-facing sensitive permissions such as internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage/media access, notifications, Bluetooth, or advertising ID.
The app blocks common unnecessary permissions in its Android manifest. The only expected merged
uses-permission is an internal AndroidX signature-level permission:
com.partyforge.offlinekit.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION.
This permission is used internally by Android libraries and is not a user-granted permission.
Optional timer sound uses Android ToneGenerator, and haptic feedback uses
View.performHapticFeedback(). These features do not require additional user permissions.
Data Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties. The app does not contain advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, social login, cloud sync, or third-party tracking services.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear it in the app where available, clear the app's storage through Android system settings, or uninstall the app.
- You can clear activity history inside the app from the History screen or Settings.
- You can remove all local app data by uninstalling PartyForge or clearing app storage in Android settings.
Children's Privacy
PartyForge is intended for general audiences and family-friendly use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.
Security
Because PartyForge does not send app data to us, there is no server-side account or cloud database managed by us. Local app data is protected by the standard security features of your Android device and operating system.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes or if legal, platform, or operational requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
